Pokerstars Bonus Code – Stars600

* Pokerstars requires new players to use the ‘marketing code’ (PSA1040) and the bonus code (Stars600) to get their bonus. Be sure to write them both down, then download the Pokerstars software.

US Players Welcome! Players need to earn 17 VIP Player Points (VPP’s) per dollar in bonus. For example; if you deposit $25, you’ll need to earn 425 VPP’s if you want to clear your entire bonus. If you deposit $200 or more, you’ll need to earn 3400 VPP’s. The new bonus is paid in $10 increments, which is great for new players since they tend to lose while they’re learning. Getting the bonus in chunks helps to replenish depleting accounts.

Players have 6 months to clear as much of their bonus as they can. To earn bonus money faster, you can play up to 24 tables at a time…better get yourself a few Red Bulls before you try it though. Sign Up Now.

Earning the Pokerstars Bonus Playing Ring Games

The new Pokerstars bonus is 100% up to $600. The new bonus also comes with new clearing requirements that allow micro-low-stakes players to earn bonus money. In the past, micro-stakes players couldn’t earn any bonus while playing in Pokerstars cash games, so this is an excellent change. For those who play $1/2 or bigger fixed-limit games, and $.50/1 or bigger no-limit games, earning the Pokerstars bonus is very easy.

Earning FPP’s in Ring Games

Earn 1 FPP when the rake reaches:

  • - $0.40 – Fixed limit games at stakes of $1/$2 and lower
  • - $0.40 – NL/PL games with blinds of $1/$2 and lower
  • - $0.40 – ‘1-on-1’ poker games (this applies to ‘1-on-1’ tables only, not regular tables which have only two players seated)
  • - $1.00 for all other games

Earn a second FPP when the rake reaches:

  • - $2.00 – All 6-max tables (this doesn’t apply for games being played 6- handed at 10/9/8 player tables – just at 6-max tables)
  • - $3.00 – All other tables

Earn a third FPP is when the rake reaches $5.00 at any game. *Partial points are now awarded for pots that rake less than $.40!

Earning the Pokerstars Bonus Playing in Tournaments

For tournament players, FPP’s are earned at any buy-in, but micro-stakes tournament players will need some time to earn the required points. For every dollar paid in tournament fees, players earn 5 Frequent Player Points. If you play in a $20+2 tournament, you will earn 10 Frequent player points, or $.59 in bonus. Partial points are awarded for tournaments with fees less than $1. So, if you play in a $5+.50 tournament, you will earn 2.5 FPP’s. If you multi-table or play in tournaments with $5+ buy-ins, earning the bonus is reasonable. If you only play micro-stakes tournaments, try Full Tilt Poker or Bodog Poker where earning bonus at low stakes is much easier.

To get your bonus, be sure to write down Pokerstars promo code (marketing code) PSA1040 and bonus code Stars600, then go to Pokerstars.
