Season 3 of the Pokerstars Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) is running now! It started in Macau with a $5160 buy-in event held at the Grand Lisboa Casino. The total prize pool was a whopping HKD $16,130,400 and the winner took home HKD $4,194,000.
The next event will be held Oct 14-18 in Auckland, New Zealand at the Skycity Casino. Satellites for this event are running at Pokerstars now and start at just $1.10 or 275 Frequent Player Points (FPP’s). Steps satellites start at $7.50 or 500 FPP’s (and are the most fun way to play). The total prize package for APPT Auckland is $5,230.
