What is Pokerstars.tv?
Pokerstars.tv is a site featuring Pokerstars pro player video blogs, live and online poker webcasts, and TV show highlights. It’s video, video, and more video.
There are videos on all of the latest events for the European Poker Tour (EPT), Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), Latin America Poker Tour (LAPT), and major events held at Pokerstars. You can watch featured hands from the main event of the World Championship of Poker (WCOOP), Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), and the new Pokerstars TV show called Million Dollar Challenge.
To see all of the features available, click on the Pokerstars TV link located on the top, right of the Pokerstars website.
If you don’t have a Pokerstars account, write down the marketing and bonus codes listed at the top of this page. Pokerstars will ask for your marketing code during the registration process, and the bonus code during the deposit process. Used together, new players at Pokerstars can get the 100% bonus up to $600. More information about the Pokerstars promo code (marketing code), and clearing requirements.
Pokerstars TV Pro Video Blogs
The Pokerstars TV website has a ton of pro player videos. Watch Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Vanessa Rousso, Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Bertrand Grospellier, Joe Hachem, Gavin Griffin, Dario Minieri, Noah Boeken, and other top pros discussing poker.
Some of the videos are exit interviews after busting out of big tournaments and some are video blogs. If you want to see inside the head of a top pro, this is a good place to do that.
Pokerstars TV Show – Million Dollar Challenge
If you haven’t seen it yet, the Pokerstars Million Dollar Challenge TV show is a poker game show where players get to play against celebrities like Jerome ‘The Bus’ Bettis, MMA star Tito Ortiz, John Salley, and 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole.
If contestants win the celebrity round, they move on to playing against a Pokerstars pro player, then ultimately against Daniel Negreanu for a chance at $1 million. Hmmm, poker against a Playboy Playmate? Toss me a spicy Bloody Mary and I can’t think of many things I’d rather do. Well, I can think of one.
The Pokerstars Million Dollar Challenge TV show is hosted by Chris Rose, and the production reminds you more of Who Wants to be a Millionaire than a real poker show. While more hard-core players aren’t likely to watch too much, that’s clearly not the target audience. Positioned right after Sunday NFL football on Fox TV, the show is clearly looking to target beginner players (men specifically).
Video clips of the Pokerstars Million Dollar Challenge TV show can be watched at Pokerstars.tv. Several webcasts of the show can be found at Pokerstars.tv. Again, click on the Pokerstars TV link at the top of the Pokerstars website to see all the action.
